AMALGAMarts now offers One-Day Intensive Workshops! This series is designed to enrich the technical repertoire of jewelers that already have some experience. You'll be surprised at number the creative avenues just one technique can add to your jewelry design! Our One-Day Workshops last 6 hours and include instruction and materials, but you'll need a bag lunch and a snack (or you can go to the wonderful buffet in the Dekalb Farmer's Market, less than 1/4 mile down the road)!

Students with experience can learn to cut jump rings, fuse, and solder rings to create a beautiful linked chain using Argentium Sterling Silver. Torch control and soldering techniques will focus on fusing, pick soldering and creating heat sinks during fabrication. This is a technique oriented workshop, however participants will be encouraged to create their own link shapes and designs.
